Tile, floors, showers and full bathroom remodels for Southwest Florida homes
Alex Tile And Flooring LLC brings 13 years of experience to tile and flooring work in seven Southwest Florida communities, from North Port to Punta Gorda.
Tile and Flooring Is the Whole Job Here
We focus on four kinds of work: tile installation, flooring installation, shower remodeling and bathroom remodeling. That focus matters because most of what makes a tile job last happens before the first tile goes down. Flat floors, sound substrates, correct waterproofing and a layout planned around the room all decide how the finished surface looks in five years.
Homes in Southwest Florida add their own conditions. Most sit on concrete slabs, the air is humid most of the year, and bathrooms work hard. Tell us about your project and we will schedule a free estimate to talk through options, materials and what your space needs.

What's Behind the Tile
A shower is only as good as the layers you never see. Framing, backer board, a waterproofing membrane, thin-set mortar, the tile and the grout each have a job. Scroll through a typical shower assembly to see how they fit together.
How a Project Starts
Getting an estimate is simple and costs nothing. Here is what to expect after you reach out.
-
Tell Us About the Project
Call (941) 291-8271 or send the estimate form. A short description, the room and a few photos help us understand the job before we talk.
-
We Talk It Through
We contact you to go over the scope, the materials you have in mind and any questions about layout, tile size or the condition of the existing floor or shower.
-
Free Estimate
We look at the space and give you a free estimate for the work, so you know what the project includes before you decide.
-
Your Decision
You review the estimate and decide on your own schedule. If you want to go ahead, we plan the start date together.

We serve seven communities in Southwest Florida: North Port, Sarasota, Venice, Nokomis, Osprey, Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda. Choose your city to see what we do there.
Recent Projects
Real photos from real jobs. Tile color and grout lines matter, so we show them as they look in person.
Project photos are on the way. We only publish photos of our own work, and the first ones will appear here soon. In the meantime, call (941) 291-8271 and ask about the kind of project you are planning.
Common Questions
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. Call (941) 291-8271 or send the estimate form with a short description of your project. We will contact you to talk it through and set up your free estimate.
Which areas do you serve?
We work in North Port, Sarasota, Venice, Nokomis, Osprey, Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda. If you are close to one of these communities but not sure you are in range, call and ask.
Can tile go directly on a concrete slab?
Often, yes, once the slab is checked. Good practice is to confirm the slab is flat enough for the tile size, clean of old adhesive and sealers, and free of active cracks. Large tiles need a flatter surface than small ones, so floor prep is part of planning, not an afterthought.
Should I choose porcelain or ceramic tile for a Florida home?
Both work indoors. Porcelain is denser and absorbs less water, which is why it is common on floors, in showers and in rooms that open to a lanai. Ceramic is lighter and easier to cut, and it is a good fit for many wall applications. The right pick depends on where the tile goes.
What should I have ready before the estimate?
Measurements are helpful but not required. Photos of the room, a rough idea of the tile or flooring you like and any limits, such as a target finish date or a single bathroom in the house, make the first conversation faster.
Can you remodel just the shower, or do I need a full bathroom remodel?
Either one. A shower can be replaced on its own when the rest of the bathroom is in good shape. If the floor tile, vanity area or layout also needs work, a full bathroom remodel lets everything be planned together so the tile and finishes match.
